    The following is a list of the documents that any bank will require to start and complete a short sale.

    • Banks Statements – Last 2 months
    • Pay Stubs – Last 30 Days
    • If self employed – Profit & Loss statement
    • If unemployed – Unemployment benefit letter
    • Hardship letter – Why you need a short sale and what your hardship is
    • Tax Returns – Last 2 years, complete 1040 including W2’s or 1099’s
    • Financial Worksheet – Your personal income and expense breakdown
    • Authorization to Release – This gives your realtor & negotiator the right to represent you and speak on your behalf.
    • Mortgage Statement – This is a copy of your mortgage coupon
    • Listing Agreement – A Copy of the listing agreement you have with your Realtor
    • HOA Statement – If there is a HOA, then a copy of the monthly statement is needed
